The Long Island Rough Riders have announced Spring open tryouts for the 2012 Men’s and Women’s team.
This year, the Rough Riders will celebrate their 18th year in existance. In 2011, the Men’s team had the best record in the Eastern Conference 12-1-3, earning the title 2011 Mid Atlantic Division Champions and Eastern Conference Champions.
Having improved their record in each of the past three seasons, the Women’s team advanced to the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals and won the Northeast Division with a record of 7-1-2.
"These open tryouts will give both men and women an opportunity to be evaluated and new talent to be identified," says Flavio Ferri, Vice-President of the Long Island Rough Riders.
The Rough Riders will enter this upcoming season looking to build upon an impressive year and are hoping to continue this trend in 2012.
Both tryouts will take place in the Spring.
