The Long Island Rough Riders are pleased to present our 1st Annual Golf Outing and Casino Entertainment Night. Our goal is to establish scholarships to help offset the cost of college bound players who are part of the Junior Rough Riders.

On Wednesday, July 16th the Long Island Rough Riders will be hosting their annual Camp Day. This event will take place at St. Anthony’s High School at 1:00p.m.

Camp Day is a great day for the kids and families to come out and watch a good soccer game. Mascots from local organizations will also be at this event.

Southbury, CT (July 6th, 2008) – After tying the Boston Renegades on July 5th, the Rough Riders traveled to Connecticut the following day to take on the Connecticut Passion. The game started off positively for the Rough Riders, with a goal in by Brooke Derosa in the first 10 minutes of the game.

Denville, NJ (July 5th, 2008) – The Rough Riders headed to New Jersey to take on the New Jersey Rangers on Saturday July 5th. They played a tight game for the first half of the game, leaving the score tied 0-0 at half time. In the first minutes of the second half New Jersey was able to score twice on the Rough Riders taking the lead.

Boston, MA (July 5th, 2008) – After facing the Boston Renegades at home, in New Hyde Park June 21st, the Rough Riders headed to Boston to once again face off with the Renegades. Within the first 20 minutes Boston scored 2 goals on the Rough Riders. However, the Rough Riders fought back.
