Hershey, PA (June 20, 2009) - The Long Island Rough Riders Girls Under 10 team took two first place awards at the Hershey Invitational and Kicks for Kids Charity tournament.  Both teams teams went a combined 8 - 0 with wins against very strong competition from Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. 

Playing in Division 1 among 34 other teams, the Rough Riders girls made their hard work in training pay off with the first place finishes.

"Overall it was a great trip for the girls, they were able to enjoy Hershey park and have fun in Chocolate World," said Girls Under 10 coach and Rough Riders Director of Coaching John Diffley. "The tournament was run very well and the competition was outstanding."
